Polyhydroxy Acids (PHAs)

It is a new-generation class of gentle exfoliants that refine skin without disrupting its barrier. Unlike traditional acids, their larger molecular size allows them to work on the skin’s surface, gradually dissolving dead skin cells while minimizing irritation—making them ideal even for sensitive skin. By promoting healthy cell turnover, PHAs help smooth uneven texture, unclog pores, and enhance the skin’s natural radiance. They also attract and retain moisture, leaving the skin visibly softer, more luminous, and better prepared to absorb subsequent skincare treatments.

PHAs in FirmX have a larger molecular size, which makes them gentler on the skin. They work on the surface to dissolve dead skin cells without disrupting the skin barrier, making them suitable even for sensitive skin.

FirmX already contains 5% PHA, a gentle yet effective exfoliant. It’s best to avoid layering FirmX with other strong exfoliants (like glycolic acid or retinol on the same night) to prevent over-exfoliation.
